Live Music at Union Station with Project String Quartet

Performing at the Carpenters Union's Carpenter Apprentice Graduation for the second year in a row was an honor for Project String Quartet. This event, hosted at the historic Union Station in St. Louis, showcased the craftsmanship and patriotism that are deeply embedded in the Carpenters Union's ethos. Our St. Louis string quartet was privileged to provide live music, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere for this remarkable occasion.

The Perfect Venue: St. Louis Union Station

Union Station, once the busiest train station in the world, is now a historic landmark in St. Louis, blending stunning architectural design with a rich cultural legacy. Its magnificent arches, beautiful glass ceilings, and grand hallways provided an awe-inspiring backdrop for our string quartet.

The space's timeless elegance adds a sense of history and prestige to modern celebrations, making it an ideal venue for corporate events, weddings, and special occasions.

The Carpenters Union: A Legacy of Craftsmanship

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) has been building skilled tradespeople for over 140 years. Their apprenticeship program focuses on training highly skilled carpenters, millwrights, and floor coverers, with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and safety.

Through their four- to five-year program, apprentices receive a tuition-free education while earning competitive wages and benefits. This commitment to education and excellence reflects the UBC's dedication to craftsmanship and the future of the construction industry.

A Celebration of Patriotism

Patriotism is at the heart of the Carpenters Union's values, and this was beautifully expressed during the event. Project String Quartet had the honor of performing the National Anthem before dinner, a moment that captured the pride and unity of the carpenters as they celebrated their achievements and contributions to the community.

The importance of hard work, dedication, and national pride is central to the Union's mission, and these values were underscored through the music, creating an emotional connection with the audience.

Creating an Unforgettable Ambiance with Live Music

Project String Quartet's performance provided the perfect ambiance for the event's cocktail hour and dinner service. Our versatile repertoire, ranging from classical to modern hits, was carefully chosen to reflect both the prestigious setting and the hardworking, patriotic spirit of the graduates.

For a corporate event, wedding, or private gathering, live string music adds a refined touch that shapes the character and mood of any event space.
