The Palladium opened in 2011 as the centerpiece of what is now the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, about twenty minutes north of downtown Indianapolis. Schwarz and Artec collaborated on a classical "shoebox" concert hall design, the form every great acoustic hall from the Musikverein onward is built around. The main hall seats approximately 1,600. The Brahm Founders Club, a 1,700-square-foot gathering space on the Box Tier level, holds 94 to 150 for more intimate events.
Weddings at the Palladium tend to split between the Founders Club for ceremonies and the lobby (the three-story atrium with classical columns) for receptions. A smaller number of couples book the main hall's stage for the ceremony itself, which turns the wedding into something very close to a chamber concert with guests in the audience.
Project String Quartet founder Rebecca Hamilton holds a graduate performance degree and has performed at the Palladium as a concert artist. Every musician on the roster is conservatory-trained, and the group holds a 5.0 Google rating across 200+ Midwest weddings. If you want to know what repertoire sounds like in this room, the playlist builder lets you hear recordings before you commit. For more on how live strings compare to a DJ in a room like this, see String Quartet vs. DJ for Your Wedding.
Couples who want a Bridgerton-style pop program alongside classical processionals will find the full range covered here. PSQ plays Taylor Swift, Coldplay, and modern film scores in string arrangements that sit naturally in a concert hall, right alongside Pachelbel and Handel. See the Bridgerton wedding music guide for the current most-requested titles.
